Hello friends!
My name is Stacie and no matter how much I try to avoid it, I always end up writing nearly every day. I blame my parents for reading to me so much as a child. It made me understand words more than I will ever understand equations or the periodic table, which also guarantees I will never excel in any math class. By now, at the age of 20, I have accepted it.
Of course I am being melodramatic; probably because I think I am way more hilarious than I actually am. If I've learned anything in life so far, it's that most people will never realize you are just kidding unless you tell them outright, so, I'm kidding...mostly.
Ever since I can remember I have had a passion for writing. It was the only thing I was ever really good at in school, and I still believe I am the best at writing essays. This blog is a bit less formal (and by a bit I mean a lot) than an essay, so I can't guarantee I won't end up writing in all capital letters about how much I love cats or something. (By the way, I LOVE CATS).
Besides writing, I love making art. I'm currently going to school for fine arts and I have no idea what to do with that degree when I am finished. I also enjoy spending time with Netflix, my friends, and my sisters (who I suppose are also my friends). I often find myself eating too many Oreos and getting emotional about weird things, but in general I would say I'm a happy person and I don't really worry...too much.
This blog is a place for me to share my super important thoughts and opinions. The plan is to discuss becoming an adult and starting new relationships, all while worrying about whether you're doing the right thing. Am I heading in the right direction in life? Should I have majored in something else? Who knows? I'm sure it's not just me who has these questions, so hopefully we can go on this journey together.
I'll be honest with you; I am probably going to discuss pop culture more than is necessary. And I am more than likely to get discouraged about this writing thing, but I want to stick it out this time, because...this is my fourth blog. But I'm seriously going to update this one; I promise!
This particular post didn't really have a direction, so my apologies if it feels all over the place. Introductions are hard! I am, however, really happy to have gotten it out of the way. Hopefully soon I will get into a good rhythm of updating and having actual topics! Until next time,
